Mabolo question .

I am planning on grafting some mabolo just for fun ( I have 2 producing females and 1 male ) .

Will a single female produce and if yes will the fruit be seedless ? I seem to have read this somewhere but not 100% sure....

Thank You Karen , but I am still not convinced ....for comparison my grafted rambuttan for example , same thing ...plenty of fruit and no male in 100 km range .

I think that, ideally, you want to graft a female tree that you are sure can produce by itself.
When selecting rambutan to propagate I put plastic bags around flower groups before they opened and they set fruit!

Rambutan is androdioecious.  A given plant can be either male or hermaphrodite. Males can never produce fruit.  Hermaphrodites can, with some pollinator/productivity caveats:

Female mabolo trees will produce by themselves, but will be seedless. Your rambutan tree definitely has some hermaphrodite flowers which produce some pollen, and that is why you are getting fruits. But if you had a male rambutan tree around you would get a lot more fruit, as in completely loaded.
