i have already planted the seeds i had, in cups with ancient turf from Estonia, outdoors, hot under sunshine, but nights are still cold (hopefully not under +14 Celsius). Of course the cups are cut around the bottom for drainage.

Still i need to know if the pacuri is self-fertile, and how old must it be to produce fruit. If you send me that (the smallest package of pacuri seeds, that is 5 seeds), please also send together 5 Pereskia aculeata scions (you have it in your spreadsheet). How much should i pay you, and by what means (card? bank transfer?). As i saw in your spreadsheet, it should be 20$ for 5 Pereskia aculeata scions, and 18$ for 5 pacurí seeds, so together it is 38$, and what should i add for shipment to Greece?

Hi! can you send 2 Stenocereus queretaroensis seedlings (when available) to Greece? How much would be the price including shipment? By the way, i have recently planted seeds for Stenocereus queretaroensis, any advice for successful germination and growing? Is the plant self-fertile?

Thank you. 80s and 70s at night means 25 to 30 Celsius, right? Surely we have no such temperatures now (April 18), it is expected to be so during June through to August. Did you scarify (scratch, sand, rub) your seeds before planting?

Not sure on the germination % but I got 1 seed to germinate out of about 4. It liked heat and some humidity, believe was in the 80s and 70s at night in a plastic bag with slightly damp peat moss.

yes i m interested for pacuri, you say it can survive -5 degrees Celsius; if this is true, it if alright here. But it normally grows too big. Can it be pruned to only 2 metres high? And, is one tree self fertile?

Good news: if you buy pacuri now, some will be sprouted!

I named those plants as examples only. My question is, can you send little plants (live plants) to Greece?

Somebody who knows about mangos has told me that a young mango to be planted must have tiny buds and purple leaflets at the top, a sign of growing. It it looks like that, some grown leaves dry at the end is not a worry, only the soil must be ample, not rocky, and must receive plenty of sunlight. Must not receive much wind when young, and must have plenty of water if it is in full sun. In short, it is the top that shows the vitality of the tree, and not the big leaves.

Do I need to bring my Loquat seedlings inside for the winter? I know they will survive outside when larger but as 3" seedlings do I need to bring them inside?

for zone 8, even the seedlings may survive the winter, but it is gambling. Better keep them inside the first winter, or at least give them some shelter from wind, frost and snow. Btw, loquat cannot take too much pruning. I apologize to my little tree, it is now standing dry as a support for climbers, after i pruned it too much because its fruit was too small and all seeds. Still sorry, the loquat is a beloved tree, it speaks to you with hundreds of flowers smelling like cinnamon even from the beginning of December in north hemisphere.

the year 2018 i got 3 mangos from Canarius, one of them being Gomera 1, all grafted on Gomera, and they all died. The reason was mostly the fact that the young plants had not yet grown a growing top. Also, it was windy the first days after planted.
In 2019, i got 2 Gomera 3 and one Gomera 1. They survived well all the winter, the temperature was never seen below +4 Celsius, but about the middle of February, when the weather started to remind of real Springtime, the one gomera 3 started to have its leaves dry and now all its leaves are drooping and dry. The other gomera 3, planted in a better place, since about 20 of February, when the weather improved, it is still pretty healthy, but the bigger leaves turned partly a little beige.
The Gomera 1 proved the healthiest of all, still now at the end of winter it looks a little worse than before.
I don't know what is going on, but i can say that Gomera 1 is better than other Gomera types. Also, from my little experience, i think that mango does not revive from roots once the top is completely dry.
Previously, i grew little mango trees from seeds, from tropical mangos bought from the market, and they were quite healthy in the winter, until it snowed, the snow destroyed them. This past winter we did not have any snow here.
So i am sure that if i plant Gomera mango seeds, they will be most successful. Of course, if i get to have fruit, i shall give seeds to anyone who needs.

Hi all growers!
i m planning to plant two plants of passiflora quadrangularis, and i have a little hesitation because it is generally described as not self fertile. But what if i plant two of them close to each other? will they pollinate each other? Since this is said to be very common a plant in the tropics, what is your experience?
By the way, if i plant two passiflora ligularis next to each other, will they pollinate each other?
