Ive never been able to get ground cherries to sprout from seed. Gave up trying.

The only one I have head of in the US is Thai Soldier from Baker Creek.

Its probably best not give it too much nitrogen or it will start vining. That is what happens with some of my more vigorous bush bean varieties.
I’m also in zone 8b. You may want to try taking a 9 or 12 inch saw blade and cutting out the root ball of the bananas and storing the entire stalk in your garage to replant come spring. It takes me only a few mins to pop out. That way a freeze won’t make the bananas start from the ground again

Are they near ripe? Then I would go ahead and get them.

22 is gonna be hard to protect fruits unless you use something to boost temps.
I bought a grafted avocado plant from a local nursery out here in Ludhiana, India. The nursery couldn’t tell me the variety and only labeled iit ‘grafted avocado’. It’s pretty and very healthy plant. Avocado plantation is very rare in India, this is the first avocado plant I’ve seen in my life, couldn’t resist taking it home.
Recently my avocado has grown some new leaves, I’ve posted photos of the both old and new leaves.
