I found my Abiu was having problems with higher levels of pH so I got a bucket of partly broken down leaves from my swamp (predominantly Paperbark leaves) and soaked them in water for a week. Then watered the Abiu with that and left the leaves as mulch for it. The Abiu picked up remarkably quickly. Can't get more organic than that. Most leaves break down into low pH compounds but some leaves do it more strongly.
