It was grafted to a 2 year old sour orange on June 26 2021 and started growing before August.  They grow fast.

Wow those are some dark green leaves, nice looking tree.  You are making me think I am under fertilizing my trees.

Valentine is not available in Australia.
It sounds like a great type from the parental varieties, but seems to have mixed opinions on the fruit ?
Any comment on is it worth the effort to chase down ?

It is not special enough to trace down.  It is a fruit that can't be bought and the tree is a gift with a different and good tasting fruit.

What kind of fertilizer are you using?

Jack's 25-5-15 half stength in winter every 3-5 weeks as needed for moisture.  full strength as needed for moisture for a max of every 1.5 weeks.  2 waterings per 1.5 weeks each at 1/2 strength.
