Got some maprang supposedly mayong chid
I believe it's mayong chid as it's sweet no sour or tart. After talking to some people.
Anyways the fruit tastes really good like cambuca. gelatinous flesh and great taste. If more people tried this, mango would go out of business.

if it's mayong chid, then it would be sweet and sour mix. Wan would be the sweet 'variety'

One other selling point is that its anthracnose resistant as well as if you choose, you can eat the skin. But don't do that if you're allergic to mango or sap or what not.

god, i love maprang a lot.

there are new varieties to be collected in Thailand. Just no one has done it yet.  Working on that for next year possibly.
