The Owari and Kimbro are two different satsumas. The Owari is the better one in mho. If you want an extended harvest I would plant different varities with different maturing dates. Early, mid season and late maturing will give you fruit across the ripening time span. Be careful with lemons as they can be not very cold hardy. If you are speaking of in the ground outside plantings, pick sheltered locations and you should do OK.

I was given the name owari kimbro. I have Owari and wanted to know if it was different, maybe a cross.
Ujukitsu lemon I read is sweet and taste like lemonade.
Harvey is zone 8-12

I went ahead an ordered the Juanita and La early. I called Stan and he said kinbro and owari are different satsumas. They were not separated by a comma so I thought they were one,

I want to apologize for all of the trashy post that I have made. I thought this was a forum in which I could find answers to my questions on hardy citrus. If it has been too much, as it has been pointed out, I'm sorry. I will not post again. Thanks for the help that has been given.

Look up McKenzie Farms. Stan is a great guy. They will not be listed. But talk to him and he will tell you what is available.

Well Juanita and La Early arrived today. The plants on the right are 2 PawPaws that I have wanted to grow for a while now. I was given $80.00 to spend  so I went for it.
