Post by: Bobooshki on February 01, 2022, 08:17:08 PM
I’ve been looking for one of these dream atemoya trees for a while and I’m wondering if anybody here has one?

Please PM me if you do, the bigger the better!

How about anyone with leads on who might be willing to graft some in the Spring?

you'll find budwood available at the end of this month and through march.
I'm planning on grafting a few this year but those ideally won't be ready until summer.
There are a few other members planning on grafting but the stock finishes pretty quick.

The only nurseries i know of that might be able to make a decent amount of trees is
TreesNmore and Fruitscapes

Thanks guys. I have reached out to Mike at TreesNMore in the past and he didn’t graft any dream last year - he was one of the outlets that I tried.

Lol Miami Fruit isn’t getting any of my money. They’re horribly overpriced and I’ve had more than one friend have bad experiences with them that I won’t get into here.

I appreciate the offer Brad, but as much as I like grafting I have heard just how difficult a graft Dream can be and so I’d love to just get my hands on one that’s been grafted successfully at this point.

It didnt seem difficult to graft for me, they all took i did 5 grafts.  Seems just like a y other annona.

But suit yourself.  The fruit does taste nice but for whatever reason at my location they all split where regular cherimoya dont split.  The fruit has a lemon flavor.
