Is it my imagination or are those Priority Shipping Boxes thinner than ever?
Also I agree... I too recently bought some boxes from Uline... much heavier duty. Nice.

Well my plants are bearing fruit so it's only a matter of time.
Should be soon... so stay tuned to this channel!

They survive my central Alabama winters OK in a cool greenhouse with lows in the lower 30s.
Can't speak for their actual hardiness though.
I treat them as tropicals.

Fresh Seeds.... Really makes the difference.
Although not convenient for everyone...
it's best when you can eat the fruit and then plant the seed right away.
Much higher germination rate.
I can't tell you how much money and time I've wasted over the past years trying to sprout Old seeds someone was selling on ebay.
Best to find a trusted grower to get fresh seeds from and then plant them as soon as possible after harvest.

Just 2 pots left...

Last year... because I was running out of Greenhouse space... I planted some CORGs outside along a fence line creating an evergreen hedge that survived my Winter of lower 20s without any damage.
I think I will set out several mature Pitangatubas this year as a test and I will report the results here next year.
Riveting I know!

Kevin

20
I think with adequate watering they should be OK for Summer heat.
Freezes I'm not sure of... although they seem to do OK in central Florida with the occasional freeze.

Kevin

21
I have some grafted White Pakistanis and Shatoots that are starting to push out new leaves.
So stay tuned...

Kevin

22
I haven't tried planting them out... just containers.
There are so many individual plants in each pot... you can experiment with planting out... and still have plenty of back-ups saved in reserve!
