Thin then bag (early).Thinning  helps size the fruit and makes bagging easy. You can try both bagging and first  spray surround clay

Surround® WP – 25 Lb

I don't know why it took so long for us in Florida to connect the dots, the Aussie had it right from the start! That is were i seen the clues first to are mislabeling back around early 2000s with an article rare fruit council of Australia quarterly. Then their color printed publications, the Chinese professor was the confirmation for Fei Zi Xiao riddle .

I could be wrong but I don’t think FZX is sweetheart. The former is partially green when ripe but sweetheart is fully red. I also think sweetheart tastes better

It was confirmed by a Chinese professor more than 15 years ago.He was in Florida for a lychee symposium. They all get fully red with maturity.I have both growing in my grove and Nuomici all fruited for decades.

"Do you find that the season varies between types?"
I don't know but flavor varies.Their is a tree in the center of Pineisland that has the best flavor i ever had and it does not even have to be full ripe and still not sour!

They are quite cold tolerant when big much more than jakfruit.Flavor is an explosion sweet and tart like fruit concentrate.

That's a big one, maybe it could be grafted on the dwarf Ambarella and it would help manage the tree size.

I have direct injection for the whole grove but i don't use it for nitrogen fertilizer as my mixed grove would be huge mistake for some fruit bearing trees even to much phosphorus and potassium fertilizer would be a no no.I have injected nematodes sf through the whole grove but your  orifice diameter should be close to 45 thousands or better.

Well....maybe it'll cook the red tide  :-\
Really not good for Florida's aquatic ecosystem, and there's no room to argue otherwise.

Let's stay away from the 3rd rail of politics or the cause of the warming please, otherwise I'll have to shut it down.

I agree, just crazy hot it about killed me yesterday working in this heat and no cloud cover.
