Citrus General Discussion / Flowers blossoming too soon ?
« on: March 25, 2023, 09:55:42 AM »
Hi everyone !

I've got a clementine tree in container, and it's has produced quite a lot a flower buds in this early spring (I live in the south of France). However, it seems like all the buds are blossoming even though the flower looks underdeveloped.
The plant hasn't had any major problems, and I'm not overwatering it.
Is it a problem ?  What am I doing wrong ?
Here are some photos
Thanks a lot

Hi !

Yes i used a  liquid citrus tree fertilizer with no success. Last month i put long term citrus fertilising sticks in the container, but then again no evolution.

Hello everyone !

I bought this lemon tree 2-3 months ago, repotted it in a bigger container, but it hasn't grown much since. A couple of leaves (not more than 4) have fallen off, but nothing more.

I though these trees didn't really have a dormant phase, and the weather being quite warm here in the South of France since september, i thought it would grow  somewhat...

Will it restart in spring or am i doing something wrong ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Have a nice day !

Citrus General Discussion / Curled up leaves clementine hernandina

Hi,

I bought a clementine tree with curled up leaves thinking it hadn't been watered enough. I checked and there are no parasites or small little insects on my tree. However after 10 days of thourough watering so that the core of the sod gets humid (The soil in which it is actually potted is quite dense.), the leaves are still curled up...

When i bought it, the shop told me not to repot it before march (i live in the south of france). Shall i repot it now ?
Will the leaves go back to their original shape, or will it stay like this ?

Thanks a lot for your help and guidance

Hello everyone,

2 months ago I planted my first pineapple in a container! It started to grow slowly, but I noticed today that the center of the plant looks like this

The leaves at the center are slightly pale green compared to the rest of the plant.

I was wondering if it was normal or if my plant is in trouble

Thanks for helping me !
