WTB Avocado Scions- Multiple Varieties
« on: May 14, 2017, 09:32:55 PM »
I have a small Haas rootstock that I'd love to make into a cocktail tree. I'm specifically interested in Sir Prize, Holiday, and Carmen Haas, but am very open to trying other varieties. I live in southern California, so I have nearly no risk of frost. I'd also be very interested if anyone has recommendations for other varieties (especially if you know a source). TIA.

You're absolutely right -- embarrassing since I live in a town that has Hass avocado ranches!  :-[

Thanks for the recommendations regarding varieties. I'd be especially interested in trying bud grafting, which is probably a better option at this time of year if I can get some sources, but again, I need to know who/where to buy from.
