Find a Brazilian Seller
« on: March 12, 2020, 01:11:49 AM »
Hello everyone
Are there reliable sellers in Brazil?
Buy seeds from the website. Always not fresh. (Guidelazeri) No more seeds.
List of seeds I need
Annona crassiflora = 70 capsules
Annona spinescens = 10 seeds
Sugar Apple = 10 seeds
Sugar Apple (Annona monticola) = 5 seeds
Packaging advice, buy nut foods. Mix in. Can pass Brazilian customs inspection.
Or send it to me, from a friend in Brazil. . He lives in Misguilas

Guidelazeri is a good seller.

You can't buy through Mercadolivre if you don't have a Brazilian tax number. In practice, the site does not allow sales abroad.

I don't know if the seeds of this species are fresh

As you probably know, whether seeds are fresh depends on the date they were harvested. The easiest method is to ask the seller when the seeds have been harvested.

Sellers claim to be seeds of the year
But someone told me that this species will not bear fruit until October

From what I recall I bought annona coriacea in January or February and they germinated relatively well, so the theory about old seeds may be  or may not be correct. Some plants bear fruit irregularly depending on the place where trees are grown, the date of fruiting may vary. In addition, some annnona can be stored relatively long if certain conditions are met. If you do not believe the seller, ask him to take a picture of the fruit along with the newspaper in the background (so that you can see the date). If it is honest and the order is worth it, it will take a photo, and if not, then you have to answer if the seeds are fresh or not.

Anyway, if you don't believe the seller, wait until October and the matter will be solved.

Different sugar apple seeds have different concentrations
Annona crassiflora = G3 1000ppm 48 hours (seeds must be fresh that year)
Annona spinescens = G3 500ppm for 24 hours (old seeds are also available)
Annona monticola = G3 500ppm 24 hours (seed must be fresh that year)
Put in sterilized river sand. Outdoor temperature 21 (night) -30 (day)
Cracked in about 17 days.
River sand temperature around 15-20

It's clear that you have some experience but on average people have different ideas when sowing seeds and most often if stable weather is lacking, sowing outside the greenhouse can be very risky.

As you probably know, temperature is not everything, and germinating seeds can be accidentally killed in many ways.
I think it's best to try until you succeed. There are a few good sellers in this forum, you can easily find them.
