Hi. I see you're planning a trip to the Caribbean coast. I'd say that's an excellent choice! My auntie's been there in Costa Rica, and trust me, she gave great reviews about their fruits.

In the few sizeable towns along the Atlantic coast of Costa Rica just check out the Mercado Central in each of them where you should find available most of those fruits which are in season.

The main towns are Puerto Limón, Cahuita, and Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.  You'll want to ask what is the best market day for each of those places.

ˇBuena Suerte!

Hey Peter, am I able to eat pulasan at your farm?  You told me a few years back that August was the time to visit, to be able to eat the largest selection of fruits, including durian. Did I remember that correctly?  If so, I need to take some time away from visiting Puerto Jimenez and Guanacaste to head over your way.

We are expecting a good fruit season this summer. By next month most things should be flowering. I’ll know the dates once the flowers fall and the fruit sets. I’ll post it on the forum.
Saludos
Peter

As for things to do in Costa Rica, there are countless options depending on your interests. Some of my personal favorites include visiting the Arenal Volcano, exploring the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches in Guanacaste.

My cousin had this epic trip to Costa Rica, and let me tell you, she couldn't stop gushing about it. The lush rainforests, stunning beaches, and, oh, those fruits!
