Yes, but don't try if you don't know how to do it. This variety is just a little easier than the White Pakistan which is almost impossible.

If you don't have a tree to graft this one, you will waste you time and money trying to root it. I did get 25% of my experimental cuttings to root, but not that easy.

If you want to root cuttings, do it on Black Pakistan, Shangri La, Thai Dwarf, which are all pretty easy if you have rooted figs or other cuttings.

If you like to buy some Black Pakistan or Shangri La for rooting I can sell you those. After my Thai Dwarf finishes fruiting this year, I will have many cuttings available of that as well. Check out the fruits on the Thai Dwarf.

For mulberry you really don't need to wait until it goes dormant. I graft them all year long.

To answer your question, yes, I should have more scions available later this year. If these fruits taste excellent then I may not sell much so I can graft it on more of my trees. If they are ok/average than it will go to the chopping block for sale.

I do see some green fruits growing on my grafted branches so I hope to taste the fruits for the first time (last year was one small fruit) to do my taste comparison with all of my other mulberries and will let you all know my ratings (Black Pak, White Pak, Australian Green, King Shahtoot, Thai Dwarf, World's Best, Silk Hope, Shangri La, Tice, Contorted, Illinois everbearing).

You're welcome. Hope your grafts take and let me know when you have ripe fruits and how you rate this one.
For me, I haven't tasted enough of this fruit to make a good comparison of the taste with my other varieties. Maybe later this year?

You're going to be happy. Himalayan is awesome. It's a peachy tasting persian with a different profile. A little skinner but longer so it's worth it.

Kevin, thanks for the feedback on this one. I haven't really heard much on the taste. Good to know you think it's very good tasting. For you, do you think it is better tasting than the Black Pakistan or have more flavor ?

I'm suppose to be getting some Persian mulberry cuttings to add to my collection, so you think the Himalayan taste better?

Kaz - scions I purchased from you from this post are doing great. I grafted the Red Himalayan on to an everbearing mulberry rootstock. It’s starting to push new growth but I haven’t seen any fruit yet. Picture below for reference. Thanks again 👍🏼
