Passiflora laurifolia Triangular fruits shape

<< < (2/3) > >>

Vinci:
They tasted great, I could eat hundreds..   unfortunately there was not so many fruits.. and since I had to collect seeds from them, I couldn't eat more :/

I will keep you up to date on this thread, if the seeds come true. Others forumers who received seeds from me could also tell us if they get triangular fruits from their plants..

Fazendeiro:
Any news on these Passiflora?

Vinci:
I gave the rest of the seeds I had, to the PSI ( Passiflora Society International ). I don't know the name they gave to them in their seeds bank however..

Personally, I didn't sow any seeds of this species, since I don't have enough room, a proper place to grow them..

Mistercseeds:
Do you have fresh viable seeds of this one right now?

Raaz:
New here and I know this is an old thread but I had to reply.

I am originally from Montserrat in the Caribbean born/raised.  Which is right next door to Guadeloupe. I grew up eating these.  Hands down my favorite type of passiflora. Zero tartness, straight candy.

Locally we call them "honey suckles". I know for sure in Grenada they also have them and they call them "Water Lemon" locally there.
