Can you please identify this seedling? The person who gave me this plant claims it's a black sapote seedling, is there any chance that's true? Thanks.

Yeah it looks more like an annona to me. Black sapote doesn’t have that blush stem and the leaves are glossy.

Not black sapote. Here's an actual black sapote seedling, from seeds of my own fruit.
