do you think I'd have a hard time rooting cuttings? for some reason It's like my worst skill in the garden

These can be rooted from cuttings.
I'd hate to say they can be and they fail for you. I think it's better for grafting as time spent cut is longer shipping vs me just cutting them and sticking them in soil.
