I’m very impressed that you are growing vanilla in Boise!  I used to live in Idaho Falls and struggled with gardening around the weather events there.

Hi,
Glad to find another local member!
What types of mulberry do you have?  Would’nt mind a eugenia that grows well in south La.  Have access to a greenhouse for my tender plants too.  I live in ascension parish and could pick up an order in person one day?
Thanks,
JJ

Hey Kaz,

if you have any passion fruit cuttings left I can take a few (small box).   Currently, trying to sprout some alata but these sound fun too.   PMed you

Hi Kevin,
I am curious how do your Garnet cherry trees fare in Alabama's winter climate?  I'm in zone 9a southeast LA. and would consider planting some in large pots.

thanks,
JJ

Yesterday I read that the expert of pineapple guava (feijoa) passed away several days ago.  Sad news and a huge loss to the tropical fruit community.  Has anyone else seen the same news?

I’ve been searching for a reliable source for the fragrant passionfruit (passiflora alata).   For some reason this variety is tough to find!  Anyone growing this type??

Thanks,
JJ

Loquat question.

My Aiden loquat tree looks like she wants to send out some flowers.   Is this common for Aiden in late summer?   I am in south La. zone 9a

Thx for your input.
