Definitely could just be a timing issue.

My maha seems to flush at different times than my other varieties.

I use Lula.

But the only reason I used Lula was for cold tolerance and they are every where around my area.

Get Alano if you want tons of saps that will satisfy most people.

Makok is kinda gritty to me and it grows slow but still flowers and fruits.

Get a butterscotch only if you want a tree that flowers like crazy but doesnt set and hold fruit for a long time. I think butterscotch needs a buddy to help with pollination.

I know for mangos they will use piva rootstock for dwarfing.
To anyone planning on getting a dwarf tree it’s something to look into.
But of course dwarfing an already established tree is a different story.

Was with Campbell yesterday and you can tell from the frustration in his voice its a crapshoot if it will work with the variety you want to use. Also the fact it takes a long time to get fruit if that rootstock slows it way down.

I have a piva I had Alex graft for me last year. In a few years I will be experimenting with piva and sabra but Im not expecting miracles.

Canopy management is the best option to keep them small. 

Nothing short of summertime bathwater but +10°, wow. I've never experienced such a dry summer here in naples with 94° highs and no rain.its usually raining every day by now. I'm hoping that will change this week since the forecast is over 50% chance for the next week. Maybe it's the El Nino pattern??? I just hope we start getting rain.

Here in Boynton on the east coast we are getting insane amounts of rain daily.

With these temps it would be tough without it.

Should be fine to move but I personally would wait until it isnt so crazy hot out.

Ive moved plenty and they bounce back fine if it isnt super hot out.
