I grow Fairchild 2 here in cali. Can you post pictures of your fruit?

Any idea why Fairchild #1 isn't talked about? from the little info I have seen, #1 is larger and higher production. My # 2 has small fruits and very small yields so far.

Do not know about #1, the #2 was the first I tasted that I REALLY liked and did not care about fruit size or huge production numbers.

My tree is a reasonable size, produces more than I,  my neighbors and friends can eat so I am happy in my ignorance of other cultivars.

The fruit ar about 5x3".

PS. Mine is in ground 11 years, the first 5 years it was a shy bearer. After that it did well.

Also there may be some seedlings in the ground  I have not pulled and if there are any there, whoever comes is welcome to them.
