Hi everyone,
I have a Hong Kong Kumquat bonsai tree. It has been very healthy until now. I am just not sure what happened to it but it has been recently losing a lot of leaves and is looking very unhealthy. It bore a lot of fruits which I kept and germinated. I have planted all of the seeds. By the way, it is so hot here in my place at 35-40 Degrees C as it is summer. I live in the tropics. I placed it under the shade, but it is still continuously losing leaves. The tree is still green. I kept the fruits and planted them in the soil. Could it be possible that the heat caused my tree to look very unhealthy? Can it still recover? I would really appreciate any advice that you could give me to save my tree. I always thought before that all citrus trees were hardy to heat but it seems like not all citrus types can withstand extreme heat. Thank you very much in advance.
