Phosphorous acid at 50% w/w is effective against phytophthora and fusarium spores.
I studied this for few years and made some experiments. This is best applied as a drench when signs of decline start to show.
It has been recently banned in Europe as residues stay in the plant and soil for many years, and fruits were found to be contaminated. This is because the grape industry overused it, as it's effective for grapes.
Also I am against copper drenching or overuse of copper as a spray.
As long as the soil microorganisms are in balance, phytophthora and fusarium will not take over, unless overwatered and lack of oxygen.

Thank you for sharing. Yuzu is generally not known for preciousness, so I might take a while longer before I can expect the first flowers. Some of my carrizo is starting to branch out in the top, at around 2.5, these might be closer to flowering.

The Japanese plant a yuzu when a kid is born, by the time it will turn into an adult the yuzu will flower and be productive. If you are lucky it can be 5 or 10 years.

This banana has been propagated by myself for over 6 years, so it has some cold adaptation.

Unfortunately some fungus infected the seeds. Perhaps I can get some fruits next year and try again

Next time send them to me I can help you germinate any kind of seed and send them back.

I have small and large types, fruits got yellow and dropped on the floor while I was away so probably seeds are ripe.

Your climate is at teh limit. They drop fruit because of cold nights.
A small greenhouse can help.

PT is resistant to phytophthora spp so it doesn't have a problem with it. However it is sensitive to drought so not watering it enough may dry out and die.
High humidity, no sun, means no watering, all you need it to adapt watering to environment conditions.
Plants were moved too fast into big containers,, they start to make roots so it takes time, that's why for pots always increase size gradually.
PT as a rootstock is a slow grower, so you need patience.


One of the soil suggestions I received from a nursery in Italy was the following:
- blond peat (about 60%)
- pumice (about 30%)
- some soil to get the right texture  (but he did not mention which soil) (about 10%)
Lenzi uses this mixture, they have 10% garden soil, I wouldn't use it. Instead I would use humus or compost.

Blonde or white peat it's different from the general based black peat used in most of the mixtures that you can find in shops. Black peat retains much more water.

That is just a small greenhouse.
I have been using something like that for years where I control the temp and humidity with a sensor and light it with led s. Success rate is very high with proper hormones.
Each plant has different needs though.
