I bought seeds probably 8 years ago and only got one to germinate and grow
It was labeled Giant Pink Yucatan. The tree died back 4-5 years ago when My place was
under 32F for 6 hours. It grew back from the roots and this year had 4 small fruit on it.
The taste is wonderful and is similar to my Sugarlata.

Is the red custard apple seeds from sand Pablo tree?!

The fruit is very sweet and crunchy. Some of the seeds are starting to germinate.

My tree is 2 years old and only produced a few fruit this year

Saramoyo seedlings from JF starting to ripen up. So, far the Ticul has ripened and was the best Annona Ive had so far. Strong berry flavor with hints of wintergreen, very sweet. Creamy with no grit. I forgot to get a pic of it.

Did you hand pollinate your trees?

I always keep them in the shade for 1-2 months.
I have been mistaken in the past and my airlayers didn't have as many roots as
I thought before I cut them off. One time I airlayered a guava and it only had one
big white root. When I put it in a pot all the leaves wilted and it collapsed.
I kept watering it and it pushed new leaves and is planted in my neighbors
yard now. I have had better luck when I airlayer in the Spring but sometimes
it's the Fall and  what are you going to do? I think the amount of leaves is fine
and keep it watered but you shouldn't water allot at one time if it doesn't have
allot of roots. I have heard humic acid is helpful with new airlayers. Recently I made
some LAB and am experimenting with it. It is suppose to be good for getting seeds to root
and help get the micro organisms in check. I haven't had any bad results with the LAB yet.
I wouldn't fertilize at all
