1.Yamamomo ‘Zuiko’
A variety originating from Fujian Province, China. It is often grown in Japan. You can plant this tree in your garden and harvest a lot of fruits. The fruits are large and sweet.

2.Yamamomo ‘Moriguchi’

Cool, I didn’t know the Japanese from the mainland are beginning to show an interest in yangmei just as much as some Americans!

I just have the feeling that some unscrupulous company will try to patent this species (as companies had done to some other fruits in the past) and tout it as the next ‘fruit of the immortal.’

Soon we will begin to see yangmei supplement pill, yangmei workout powder, and yangmei juice at your local Wal-Mart, Kroger, Costco, etc...lol.
