Early cherimoya season in San Diego.

I was very surprised to see some cherimoyas coming ripe this week, particularly Fino de Jete, Knight, and El Bumpo. Harvested a couple 3 days ago. They will be ready to eat this evening. Suspect it is the result of our unusually hot September.

Yes, I harvested a few Pierce and a knight which were the ones I pollinated first. I had figured that was why they ripened so quickly.

I saw cherimoya at Sprouts two weeks ago with a Melissa's sticker on them, indicating grown in USA. I thought it was early!

Ate Chaffey, Honey Hart, and Sabor already.

Wow, this is really early.  I typically don’t look at my moyas until December.  I may have to go check on them now to see what’s happening.

Early pollination, early ripening.  My trees set fruit in August and will be ready in Nov-Dec.
