I suspect Lemon-esh will be flavored close to Orange Sherbet.

Another unfortunately named variety launched into the world! Wouldn't "Lemonesque" at least roll off the tongue more smoothly and have some basis in linquistics?
You're absolutely right, and calling another new mango "Hannchen!" :-[  What I'd like to know, and I made this comment on the video, is would she describe it as equal to Lemon Zest in flavor and better than Orange Sherbet.  What is the consensus among those who have tasted it so far?  I know many from her "inner circle" have tasted it.

Hannchen was the best late season mango I had. Definitely preferred to Lemonesh and OS. Only thing that I’m not sure if I like, I thought the fruit was overripe due to how soft it was but it was perfect ripeness.. on the other hand it gives it a bit of shelf life. I enjoyed more than LZ this year as well.

Well I nailed this one right
Went to the middle part of the video so I wouldn't have to suffer muchof the West Palm Beach Garden gnome. This reminds me I need to shave my poodles backside🤣

PPK is a poly Lemon zest is a poly. Chris is a very intelligent lady.  I can only surmise that if you're going to plant a seed why not plant the very best. Any Improvement on Lemon zests disease resistance and in my opinion a smaller size would be a wonderful thing. Being that coming up with another variety doesn't happen overnight I am grateful to her foresight for improving upon what we have available to us. Would like to see Har come back to her tasting table along with Scott

Officially now a hype plant since Paul is telling everyone this is the greatest mango ever.

I await the 15th video of him pulling more vigorous trees out of his yard to plant this.

I think for the 15th video he should Raft across the Peace River in Punta Gorda and secure a bolt mango tree.

Or better yet fliptop can Act as a coyote to escort The Gnome across the Rio Grande to track down the Dirty Sanchez mango

Tequila flavor profile

Fliptop no tequila flavored Sanchez mangoes!!! Until you get back to the north side of the river

They are making some bold claims, I am going to wait until I taste a few. I'm really satisfied with Lemon Zest, Lemon Meringue and Orange Sherbet so I can't see pre-ordering a 1 gallon tree at this point. Maybe I'll graft a couple branches down the road if it is truly tropically delicious.

Irresponsible on his part, but then again he's only trying to get views and make himself the "fruit-tree guru."

Even if it's just as good as PPK and is truly late season that would be a wonderful thing. If I was inclined to do so I could easily graft two seedlings and recoup my initial investment. She offers trees first then over time maybe Budwood. So by the time you get budwood I will already be harvesting budwood and potentially close to having fruit bearing tree. I'll graft some onto LZ and OS. I think the Zill neumatic well is dry ##-##. And for the most part this is surely intellectual entertainment for me but have any of you took your grandkids to Dairy$$$
Fruit food for thought🙂

What's missing from this photo late season lemon-esh

Here's carpe diem got it from her last season it's about 5 ft tall
