Attending a conference in San Diego end of October...

I will be attending a conference in San Diego from Oct. 24 - 27, and will have a little time for tropical fruit field trips. Can anyone recommend gardens and nurseries to visit in the area?

Do any local San Diego members have any seedlings or seeds they'd like to offer for trade or purchase?

Right smack in the middle? The conference will take place at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront and my hotel will be very close to there...

I'm now wondering if I should have posted this in the fruit discussion section instead?

Contact crfg San Diego and see if they have members you can visit. Many members are retired and might have free time.

You can go to Exotica Nursery in Vista, which is sbout 30 minutes from downtown SD.  Also Ong's which is also in the same area.  Good luck!
