How toast is this?
« on: March 14, 2022, 04:03:55 PM »
I'm a little heart broken about losing this grafted poncirus sapling. I went on vacation (1 week) and dropped it outside with its kin and when I came back it was toast. One was wintered outside & this one was dormant inside before I brought it out. I think the rain & sudden cold front took it out. Do you think any of it survived?
The other one is fine but leafless (long been like that) but the scion on that one died to a nub so hopes arent high.

Looks like it is toast, but I would hold onto it for a week or two hoping for a miracle.

Yeah I have low hopes but Ill keep it for observation. The scion seems gone but maybe something sprout from the roots.

Does anyone have any tips for breaking dormancy, I think i introduced it too fast and it was too much at once (water, sunlight + sudden cold front)
