huge grapefruit blooms
« on: January 27, 2022, 09:19:12 PM »
My containerized Marsh grapefruit is completely covered with flower buds, to the point where it doesn't even look like a citrus anymore.  At its current size I will probably only let it keep six or so fruits, but the flowers will be nice.  I am thinking I might chop my Flame grapefruit in half and plant this one right next to it so they can share the same spot in the greenhouse.

This one is in a container for the moment.  I have a Flame (pink grapefruit) in the ground that I also really like.  I don't have space right now for two grapefruits so I am waiting to see if I decide I like the Marsh more than the Flame.  I might do a dual-graft of both types if I can't make up my mind.
