50 year old orange seedling

(1/1)

Nick C:
Not sure if I ever posted this before but figured I’d give it a share on here

Back in the 70s, my grandmother got an orange seed from Tropicana orange juice company. The tree that resulted is still going strong and I’ve since inherited it after she passed back in 2020. Fruits are decently sour with edible skin. The tree is currently loaded with fruits and new blooms

Looks to me like a Calamondin (or Calamansi). Fits your fruit description too.

Mulberry0126:
Wow, that's a beautiful Calamondin. We have several, they make such good houseplants/patio plants.

LBurford:
Very nice looking tree.

vanman:
Nice.
