Variegated Starfruit

Hey! Saw this variegation on a starfruit at my college greenhouse. Unfortunately it s ravaged by whitefly, but nonetheless it is an interesting plant.

Looks like a nice variegation too, are you allowed to take cuttings/air layers?

I am sure I would sometime, however the tree is so small and sickly I think it would be good to try to get it to grow more.
