Heaviest Mango 2022

Just curious what everyone's largest/heaviest mango has been for the year. A Friend gave me a mango off her tree today that weighs 3lbs 6oz. And from what she said that was not the largest fruit on the tree! I suspect that the tree is a Springfels or maybe a seedling of Springfels.

I had a Springfel mango last week and it was probably three pounds! I didn't weigh it, but I should have. It was excellent.

I've seen a lot of Valencia Pride hit 2lbs, but 3lbs is exceptional and almost 4lbs is fantastic!

Nice Pic Bovine, I ate my first VP of the year last week.

In my opinion (IMO), for best taste with Valencia Pride... Let it go overripe with the brown dots all over it and you will usually have a much sweeter pineapple taste.... When it looks like it's starting to rot... This old vulture jumps right on that mango....   :P
