Nosari7Viper:
Do you think a Citrus × Aegle marmelos Intergeneric Hybrid is possible?, or a Citrus x Triphasia trifolia Hybrid, or maybe even a Citrus x Citropsis articulata Hybrid?

steven92:
Hybrids between Citrus and Citropsis have been created both in Australia and Japan.

Have a look at this paper: First Fruiting Intergeneric Hybrids between Citrus and Citropsis (DOI: 10.21273/JASHS.138.1.57).

Nosari7Viper:
Thank you very very much for telling me about the Citropsis × Citrus Hybrid.

mikkel:
I am not sure if it has already been tried with Aegle, I have only read about Citropsis, like in the link above.
So far, such intergeneric crosses have not been successful, except with wakonai as a parent.
wakonai is unfortunately not available.

Marcin:
Citropsis x Citrus crosses may work.

Hybrid seedling of Citropsis schweinfurthii x 'Nanpu' tangor:
https://www.researchgate.net/figure/The-seedling-obtained-from-the-cross-between-Citropsis-schweinfurthii-and-Nanpu-tangor_fig3_279488113

Results from: Cross-compatibility between Aurantioideae plants (1985). What didn't work: true Citrus x: Glycosmis, Murraya, Triphasia, Atalantia, Hesperethusa. Pummelo x Citropsis schweinfurthii produced two small seeds (which didn't germinate).
