Yes!!

But owners are picky, and always right...so they want pretty now...but really translates to slower recovery and really pretty even later!!

If this was my tree I would have cut lots more leaves and branches off the top:..only preserving the nicest largest branches!

Good suggestion!!  Time will tell how they handle!! With loads of water , they should be ok...even if they do lose a bunch of leaves due to stress.

Nothing like strong winds to totally dry out a just transplanted tree! I'd be covering that whole tree with shadecloth or a tarp, or some other type of enclosure to keep wind and sun out for a couple of days at least.
