Where are my Wampee people at?

(1/6) > >>

FlyingFoxFruits:
I can't wait to eat these fruits!

They taste  like a grape and lychee to me, but really only taste like wampee.

They really grow on u after eating a few.

This tree handles freezes no prob.

If you double click picture, you'll see that its covered in green fruits, like a citrus tree mixed with a lychee tree!!!

BTW the photo is deceiving because of the longan tree in the foreground, the wampee has superficially similar foliage.

Give the wampee a try if you can find a tree  or a fruit ;)

siafu:

Yep. I like it very much as well.

One of my seedlings fruited for the first time last summer. The fruits were
very sweet and seedless. I'm hoping both traits are permanent...

It is in heavy bloom now and I am hoping for a decent crop in the summer. Wish me luck... ;D

Goodluck! how old was that seedling that fruited last summer?

siafu:

It's about 5 years old.

FlyingFoxFruits:
Good Luck!

Please let us know if it remains seedless!

Sorry to be a negative Nancy  :-[, but I think it won't be though...the first few times a tree sets fruits, they can be seedless.  The same thing has happened with my sugar apples.
