Title: Malaysian 'King' Mango
Post by: durai on August 06, 2015, 09:27:17 PM
This mango is also called 'S' because of the shape.
It weighs 2.85 kg.
Enjoy.

Wow, that fruit is huge! I wonder how it tastes and if it's sweet. Quality is more important to me than size but the fruit looks impressive. If it also tastes great, that would be wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

This is the first year my 'King Mango'  is bearing fruit.
I had 5 fruits (each fruit more than 2.75 kg.) on this 3 year old plant.
The seed is long and thin as you can see.  Amazingly it was totally fibreless.
It did not crack for its size.  The taste was good.  As good as my Choc Anon.
Though it ripen almost evenly, the top part had a little bit of sour mixed with sweetness.
It has a very strong mango flavor.  I enjoyed eating this mango.
