Hi Simon, it's a local seed grown mango. It's very sweet, but fibrous.

Good to see you back. Truly you have been gone a long time. I was wondering where you were, because my guava is fruiting, and we discussed that ages ago.

Thanks, Durai.
Yes, they are grapes for wine...very,very sweet.
The problem with growing grapes in the tropics is the rust pathogen that develops on the leaves with the excess moisture and humidity..maybe table grapes will fair better in these conditions...worth giving a try and see what works for you.

Thanks Tropicaliste. Happy to hear your guava is fruiting, congrats. :)

Ed

Ed, i'm having doubts about the ID, the immature bunches on the net don't match...mine doesn't develop the blue.  The flavor is great like a sweet apple/manzano banana...I noticed that this plant doesn't produce many suckers like Robusta, Grande Naine or Dwarf Cavendish. Very manageable plant and easy harvest.
Thanks. :)

Good to hear from you, Steven! I always remember you when I see my jaboticaba vexators, the natal plum (that I should propagate by cuttings now), some yellow psidium cattleianum and maybe other species, so I am glad to see you here again!

you live already in a tropical paradise!
