Beautiful fruit! I love the cracking on the skin, reminds me of a ripe fig.

The rosie-red blush is kind of nice too.
I don't know if that cracking is typical... as this was the first fruit it set.
It's also been pretty hot in my greenhouse... in the triple digits.
They're growing in 5 gallon pots and need watering twice a day.

Sweet with a hint of passionfruit/tropical fruit flavor... worth growing.

I condemn and rebuke such interspecific hybrids. Can we get a moratorium on this until we figure out what the hell is going on?

Adam Shafran is a mad scientist who needs to be stopped. Eugenia is the genus with over a thousand species so I ask: is that not enough?

Unless there is some major benefit, such as the seedlessness of hybridized bananas, then such evolutionary shortcuts should be proscribed.

This kind of stuff should be experimental only and under strict supervision. It's part and parcel of the trans and diversity agenda.

Eugenia luschnathiana = CURUIRI.   Talisia esculenta = PITOMBA   Eugenia candolleana = FOREST PLUM.   Garcinia arubayensis = Achachairu

I no longer post in the main forum due to third-world style censorship of valid views and the pathetic emotional protection racket afforded some individuals.

I am surprised these 2 species could cross and I wonder if the real father has been confirmed beyond reasonable doubt.
