My schedule doesn't permit attending this weekend, so I think we will go to the Thursday lecture. http://www.fairchildgarden.org/Events/?date=01-2013&eventID=806

I would like to taste cacao pulp.  Anyone know if they typically have fresh cacao available?  A plant sale is mentioned but they do not get into specifics.  Does anyone know if they might have Theobroma bicolor or grandiflorum?  I could go Friday if either are a possiibility.

I won't be going to the Chocolate Festival this weekend but I will probably be going to the Tamiami International Orchid Festival. http://tamiamiorchidfestival.com/

It's at the Dade County Fairgrounds Expo Center. Definitely worth going.

I have to disagree. Some can have great pulp. I eat them a lot. The problem is there is not much pulp. But if you eat around all the seeds of one large pod you will definitely get a belly full.
