Denver!

I'm a new grower with a thin collection that's been learning a ton from the masters in this forum. Thx for doing this.

Nuggets vs Heat now. First time an 8th seed has made the finals since the Knicks in 1999. Wild.

Nugs in 5. I don't think Jimmy Butler has enough to overcome Jokic and Murray.

(P.S. Go Golden Knights!)

Hahaha! I know nothing about basketball ;D. I hope I find some loquats in Japan. It's supposed to be yangmei season too.
BTW THANKS for having the contests/raffles for plants. I support the concept of spreading good cultivars.

Nice that you are going to Japan, try to find/buy a fruit called Queen Nagasaki loquat. It measures in at 150 grams according to a person who went there to visit relatives.

I found a person who has a seedling tree in SoCal that has fruits larger than any of my Peluche fruits (117 grams). This seedling tree has fruits which weighs 120 grams, without thinning the fruit cluster. I know this to be true since I went to his house and picked the fruits myself. It could replace the Peluche as the largest loquat fruit, wow. When I get chance, I will be posting the largest loquat fruits this season showing the fruits side by side.

Here's some photos of the Peluche tree. You will probably get scionwood cutting from this tree. I have 3 other trees grafted with Peluche.

This tree must not be common. All I found was Nagasakliwase. No you have an idea of the japanese name for this cultivar?

Here's the photo advertisement.

I communicated with the girl who went there and ate some of these fruits, she said it is supposed to be the best there. Has been around for only 7 years. I thought the Mizuho was supposed to be one of the best and I have it grafted, taste was ok, nothing special. My other varieties are better tasting than the Mizuho but it was the first year it had fruits so taste may improve next year.

Yep. Did some digging. I found this place called greendego.jp. Guess what they also sell..... yamamomo otherwise known as yang mei!!!! There was a guy on here a few months back claiming he could export from Japan. When I asked for a picture of his product he sent me a pic. I googled  the pic and found it was snatched from greendego.jp. Anyway. Yep. The stuff is here in stock and in supply. I wish i knew how to export this stuff because I would do it myself while I'm here.

Updated and Final List:

We have seven people who are left for the finals Championship games.

Those people who picked the NBA Champs will get the Peluche cutting.

The others who picked the second-place team (in Finals) will get a seedling tree cutting of my choice. The seedling variety I pick will be from a fruiting tree, and it may be a new variety that I have not shared/released yet.

The taste of the seedling variety I pick will be better than the Peluche.

For the others who picked Miami, you will also win a cutting (if you want it) of one of my new seedling tree which fruited this year. I had 5 new seedling trees which fruited and 3 have very good tasting fruits. I will pick your scionwood from one of the 3 best tasting new seedling variety.

The following people will need to pay for the shipping cost ($10.20) by Friday. Send me a message and I will let you know how to pay for the cost.
