Looks like avocado lace bug infection. A pretty bad case of it. I would check under the leaves and rub out any of the black pepper looking stuff there.Is there any kind of spray or treatment for that?
This Simmonds avocado tree was looking fine and healthy 4 months ago. Then little burn spots started to appear in the middle of some leaves. Now it has progressed to this stage. What do you think could be happening? This doesn't look like laurel wilt, and my Monroe tree hasn't been affected, nor have a dozen other avocado trees in the neighbhorhood. I have been using city water regularly, but not overwatering. Could it be something in the water? But my other tree looks fine. Any ideas, insights, or suggestions would be helpful. I'd hate to lose the tree and have to start over with another.
@MasonG31,
Is that orange colored or the photo makes it look like one?

Ok we need AJ to say if he prefers nabal or sharwil. Nabal is nicexcellent but sharwil still is better IMO.
Guess it just comes down to personal preference.
dark fruit. Fruits are big, dark, and sweet (when it is really ripe) with high acidity. Not much gasoline smell.
Red fruit. It was grafted last year. Fruits are even bigger, red, and sweet. Not much gasoline smell.
