Owner said she got it from a friend, which they got it from guangxi china, the city where it originated from. 

I can ask but most likely answer is no, at least not until fruiting is over.

I have  the following:

10-15 white sapote seeds (mcdill, vigorous and super productive)
2 yellow sapote seeds (casimiroa tetrameria, wooly leaf, naturally dwarf, great for rootstock, keeping many for myself, very valuable)
3 or so grumichama seeds (big fruit, very good taste, is already sprouting)
3 or so wampee seeds

I'm looking to trade for the following named variety scions, which includes white sapote, mango, loquat, citrus/kumquat, rooted mulberry cuttings.  Let me know whatever you have to offer, or I can just sell it if no one has what I'm looking for.

FruitForLife, ok, I need to update my comments on the wooly leaf sapote fruits. I did get 2-3 from the CSUF arboretum tree and their fruit iare not as tasty as the wooly leaf fruits on my trees. So, there must be something lacking in their soil. I have their wooly leaf scionwood grafted on my older tree and the fruits taste very good in my yard.

I just ate the third fruit from CSUF, and it was just ok, not very good, not much taste. But the same yellow/wooly leaf fruits on my trees tastes very good with high brix. The McDill fruit from CSUF seems to have the same good/sweet taste whenever they are ripe. So, the wooly leaf fruit must need more attention (water, fertilizer, etc) than the regular white sapote varieties.

Yep, first fruit (slightly soft, prob not fully ripened) kinda disappointed me, second fruit (100% yellow, but counter ripened) taste just ok, juice with light fragrance, but not that sweet and somewhat bland, I sure hope this is not the norm for this variety.  The mcdill on the other hand, when its tree ripened, taste super sweet, overwhelmingly sweet, but the texture is creamy, good fruit overall.

Fruit4me, is the lychee grafted on your longan tree? If so, what variety is the longan

I think there are pretty dramatic differences in white sapote flavor. On the bad end, some always have bitter flavors or watery-avocado/vegetable flavors. On the good end they can be creamy and lemony. In between they are often sweet but bland. I have yet to taste a really big white sapote that has really good flavor, but I hope there is one like that.

what is your favorite varieties? I tasted the mcdill variety from csfu before, I think its consider a big size sapote, I like sweet stuff, but to me, this variety is just wayy too sweet, to the point that when I bite into it, I feel like bitting into brown sugar crystals from the skin.

on the other hand, there's a seedling tree that produce smaller fruits (not the wolly leaf), its not as sweet, but still taste good, sweet juicy and creamy.

CSFU sells the fruit, if everyone picks them, there wouldn’t be any left for them to sell.
