I was grafting CORGs the other day and had some materials left over so I though I would try to graft a couple of CORG scions onto some Suriname Cherry Seedlings I had.
Too early to tell if the grafts will take.
Anyone else had any experience grafting these?

Kevin have you tried E. calycina onto CORG? I thought mine took but then after a flush all scions declined so i wonder if it was incompatibility or something else.

Yes... in fact that is my current project these days... grafting "Garnet" Calycinas onto CORG.
I'm no expert... But so far I've had some success.

Great Job Kevin. I know some people have had success with the Calycinas on CORG. Especially if you have a superior variety!

Thanks Kevin, i will try again. The calycina scions i got were from Mike here at forum. Can you please pm me where i can find the scions of this  Garnet variety. Meanwhile my nelita seeds i got from Miguel never sprouted after 6 wks of transit and 3 weeks in dirt, i will give 2 more weeks and might need your seedling if they don’t wake up.

I also bought some Calycina scions from Mike... and got 3 of them to stick to one CORG seedling.
