Jaboticaba needing ID
« on: February 24, 2021, 04:14:02 PM »
Help me id this jabo, it was sold to me as grimal but after I planted it in ground and it replaced all it leaves it definitely doesn’t look like grimal any more. Check out the pics and let me know what you think. Oh and it’s not fruiting right now and my other Jabos are loaded

Possibly a yellow jabo, white jabo, or (dwarf mulchi, giant mulchi, mulchi)
Cheers!

Plinia grandifolia is my guess.  If so, it tastes like a mix of red and vexator.

The longest grimal leaf I could find.
