Toka Plum in SoCA

I just cut down another rotten apple tree and my wife wants a high quality plum tree.  Some of my upper Midwest coworkers are really happy with their Toka plum, but I canít find any information about chill hours.  Does anyone have success with this plum in Southern CA?  I have a couple neighboring Aprium trees that perform well.  My hope is that they will serve as suitable pollinators.

I can't answer if it will do well, but I'm going to try it here in San Diego. I bought scionwood from reallygoodplants (Marta). I've heard it's really excellent when it fruits well.
