Start with a razor blade. You don’t need to get a grafting knife. Use a new one for each grafting session and clean it with IPA before use. Depending on the varieties and your growing conditions, you may want to get buddy tape to wrap the scion. But… if you can control the amount of direct sunlight the plants get, some clear plastic bags seem to work fine to keep in moisture. I’ve used plastic tape, twine, rubber bands, zip ties, etc to hold the scion tight.
