Even if it was legal at this point, I have never seen or heard of a fruiting size for sale in CA.
The 1 fruiting tree I have seen in CA mysteriously vanished from the university it was planted at.
In my mind that would have to be minimum 25 gallon and a few thousand .
But there are zero nurseries selling Wampee in CA.
Seed's are the only responsible route right now with the state wide citrus psyllid quarantine.

I didn’t realize Wampee is part of citrus’s family and it’s also under quarantine. My friend gave me some fruits and I do have the seeds. I guess that’s option. It’ll take 5 to 7 Years to fruit.  Can Wampee be airlayer?

Can Wampee be airlayer?

I have seen grafted ones for sale, not sure about air-layer. I thought about buying one but I already have one growing from seed so I think I will just wait it out.

I was checking the callous on an airlayer I'm doing, and i see roots forming. It's doable. But, still don't know how well the root systems gonna be.

I've bought a 15 gallon wampee from California Tropical Fruit Tree Nursery in Vista.

I just bought 2 airlayer wampees for an unbelievable price. One has 1 fruit and the other has none. Both are in 5 gallon pots. Both trees desperately need to be repot or put into the ground. I am confident they both will fruit next year.
