All wampee taste like grapefruit skin to me. Some where in my farm I still have a tree. Other trees die from citrus greening .

Some of the Chicken heart wampee is ready. It averages 2 to 3 seeds per fruit. Not bad. Taste just like all the seedlings I've tried but with less seeds.

Just sharing an updated on my grafted Chicken heart wampee tree. I added the Seedless variety onto it on Feb 7, 2023. The Scion took forever to push. It has about 6 inches of growth so far. Really looking forward to try the seedless.

I had 2 wampee grafted onto citrus tree in February 2022. One died on its own and the other one broke off after I removed the electrical tape. Luckily I was able to take budwood from it and graft it onto a seedling.

I have another graft maybe about 4 years old that's grafted  onto citrus. I've fruited from that graft once. The union does not look healthy.  I'm currently airlayering it because I have a feeling it might die. I'll post a picture of it later.  Just like lychee on longan, it's only temporary.
