I am new to growing tropical fruit trees. This spring I got a Alano Sapodilla and Rose apple (Syzygium jambo) that are in a 7 gallon pot and since growing outside. I am in PNW and brought them inside the house in a small room (plant room) I use for starting seeds and overwinter citrus (Meyer lemons). The plant room temperature ranges between 70F to low 60's F and at around 40% RH. I have had success not killing the lemons for 3 years, putting them under lights for 10 to 12 hrs never had to do anything regards to changing the temperature and humidity lemon trees grow slow during this period.
I have put an oil filled heater (low wattage) and small humidifier with these two additions, I have noticed the temp can be maintained at 70F, humidity between 50-60% (except when I forget to re-fill the water). Is this a good enough situation for my Sapodilla and Rose apple to continue growing or do they need much higher temps and humidity.
